Brightmere Council involves residents in local decisions through consultations, public engagement and the democratic processes attached to council meetings.
Consultations and engagement
When the council is seeking views on a proposal, the consultation or engagement page sets out what is being considered, why views are being sought, how to respond and when the opportunity closes.
Responses are considered as part of the relevant council process. Taking part in a consultation does not guarantee a particular outcome, but it gives residents and organisations a formal route to put their views on record.
Meetings and decisions
You can follow council business through meeting agendas, reports, minutes and decision records. Where a meeting permits questions or another form of public participation, the meeting information will explain the procedure.
Other ways to contact the council
Use the ordinary contact route for enquiries or service matters. If you are dissatisfied with a council service, use the complaints process.
