There are several ways to become involved in community life and in the work of Brightmere Council.
Take part in your neighbourhood
Residents can join local groups, take part in community activities, volunteer or contribute to council engagement where opportunities are available. The right route depends on whether you want to take part in community activity, influence a council decision or raise a service issue.
Take part in council decisions
Consultations and engagement exercises are published through the council's Have your say section. Council meetings and decisions are published separately so residents can follow formal democratic business.
Find community opportunities
Use the community-groups, volunteering and Community Connectors pages to find local participation routes. Current opportunities are published when the council has enough information to explain who is responsible and how residents can take part.
