Community Connectors offer short-term, voluntary help to connect people with local activities and opportunities.
How it works
- Tell us what kind of local connection or practical information would help.
- The council records your request and considers whether Community Connectors are the right service.
- Where appropriate, a connector can help identify suitable local groups, activities or community opportunities.
- If another service is responsible, you will be directed to the correct route.
Before you request support
This is not an emergency, clinical or statutory social-care service.
Choosing suitable community opportunities
The aim is not simply to provide a list of organisations. A connector should use the information in your request to help identify opportunities that are relevant to what you are looking for and practical for you to explore. The service can help with an introduction or initial connection, but participation remains voluntary.
